Call for Application to
IWQoS Floor Demonstration

Demonstration Application Objectives:

IWQoS has emerged as the prime annual event on Quality-of-Service (QoS)-related research and technologies. Building on the successes of previous workshops, the objective of the workshop is to bring together researchers, developers, and engineers working in related areas to discuss recent and innovative results, but also to demonstrate resolved challenges by contributing to

  • Certification and Testing of QoS-providing Strategies, Tools or Products
  • Tools and Methods to Specify, Test, Measure, or Implement QoS-based Approaches
  • Modelling Approaches to assess Performance or QoS Characteristics of Communication Components
  • Over-the-Air Communication Platforms (Middleware) providing QoS Control Capabilities
  • QoS-based Network Management Tools
  • QoS of Sensor and Measurement Technology
  • QoS of Privacy and Security Technology

Demonstration Application Procedures:

IWQoS invites submissions on demonstration or exhibition specifications that present original developments. Demonstration specification submissions should be short but specify the intention of the Demo, the functionality of the approach, and the technical requirements of the demonstrator in terms of space and equipment required.

Because of the limited space at the IWQoS-Forum submissions will be judged on originality, significance, interest, clarity and relevance.

  • Notification of Demo Acceptance: May 27 , 2005
